Bible Study

It took me quite a while to understand God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  I struggled with this for many years while attending church, bible studies, seminars, and even reading the trendy religious books did not open up my understanding.  One day, years later, the Holy Spirit opened the door.  "Renee, you are a wife.  You are a mother and you are a daughter.  In each of these roles, you have a specific responsibility and purpose.  You operate in 3 different areas yet, you are still Renee"  I meditated on each of the roles in my life.  The duties and intimate relationship I have with my husband, serves it's purpose.  The care and nourishment in my relationships with my children and grandchildren is quite different.  The care and commitment as a daughter to my parents, the honoring of my friends and the duties of ministry is great also.  Then, I became still...and looked up, to God.  I began to see the hands of God in every episode of my life.  O Glory to God!

God the Father - as a Father, how He protected a newborn infant in a segregated hospital when the nurses neglected to observe the baby and it resulted in scar tissue in the child's head.  Father intervened and saved a life.  His continual protection and shield from fatal harms and dangers to myself and from others.

God the Son - total redemption from the penalty of eternal sin.  He gave His life and blood to keep me with Him in eternity.  He placed his blood in my heart, trusting me with His word that I may draw others to Him.

God the Holy Spirit - He continues to lead, guide, instruct, and not only love me but love on me His mercy, grace and compassion because...

I belong to him and He breaks every fetter!

GOD in 3 Persons, Blessed Trinity

In every one of these 3 areas, He watches over me and the cares of my life.  Each area has it's own Responsibility, Purpose and Power yet He is still one GOD.  And it doesn't stop there.  For the rest of my days I will need the Trinity.  For each speaks to me. To lead me.  To guide and correct me.  To spend time with me.  Job 33;4 says, "The Spirit of God made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life."  I know I owe Him me!

I encourage you to get into the Word of God and fellowship with His people, for iron sharpens iron and we all need encouragement.  Some of us need it continually or daily.  Reflect back on your life.  Can you see the hands of God?  Do you see His hands in your life now?

Read and meditate on the entire book of  1 JOHN.  May Father forever Bless you.
