Help or Hinderance?

First glance at a caterpillar, you may think that all they do is inch around all day and eat.  But the life of a caterpillar is much more complex than that.  It may not be a good idea to handle one with bare hands.  Many have venomous spines or irritant hairs you can't see that can cause painful rashes, swelling and allergic reactions.  Caterpillars have a life expectancy of about 2-5 weeks, more or less, then they change. It's called "metamorphosis".

During this change, they are cocooned in a silk web and in that web miracles happen.

Through due process, they emerge from the cocoon as a butterfly or moth.  While observing this change, there are some that would "help" the butterfly by snipping the silk cocoon to help free them while they are struggling. This damages, harm, or even kills the butterfly.  No help is needed because this is nature taking it's course.  

At first glance, you may think you need to help someone who is really struggling or going through.  You may have resources to bring them some comfort or direction.  Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself so this may be a great thing but prayerfully consider your ways.  GOD may be taking them through a "metamorphosis" to change them for HIS glory and your "help" may be a "hinderance".  The other side to this coin is when you are going through and struggling and no one seems to help you. Could be JESUS' silk web for you!  Time for Your "metamorphosis!  Trials come to make us strong.  Best victories come from seemingly horrible trials.  Endurance anchors our hopes and makes our faith solid.  GOD loves us and daily loads us with benefits.  We have a loving FATHER who watches over us daily so we lift up our eyes unto the hills from whence cometh our help.  Our help cometh from the LORD which made heaven and earth. So don't fret when you or someone you love is going through or struggling.  Worship, Praise, Pray!

But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
